DMCA Copyright Policy & Takedown Procedures

Last Updated: March 20, 2026

Our digital compliance infrastructure operates in strict accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and international intellectual property frameworks. We highly respect the intellectual property rights of creators, developers, and corporate entities, and we expect all users navigating our educational directory to maintain the same standard of compliance. This document meticulously outlines our internal procedures for processing copyright infringement claims and executing legally mandated content takedowns.

1. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) Compliance Framework

It is our explicit administrative policy to respond rapidly to clear, legally valid notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the United States Digital Millennium Copyright Act, Title 17, United States Code, Section 512(c)(2), and other applicable regional intellectual property laws. If you are a copyright owner, or an authorized agent operating on behalf of one, and you believe that any informational content, archival link, or text hosted on our infrastructure infringes upon your copyrighted work, you are entitled to submit a formal takedown notification.

2. Filing a Formal Takedown Notice (Elements of Notification)

To ensure immediate administrative action, your DMCA takedown request must be highly structured and contain all statutory requirements. Failure to include the following operational data may result in the rejection or delay of your request. A valid notification must include:

  • Physical or Electronic Signature: A verified signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
  • Identification of the Copyrighted Work: A precise description of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or, if multiple copyrighted works at a single online site are covered by a single notification, a representative and detailed list of such works.
  • Identification of the Infringing Material: The exact URLs or localized directory paths of the material that is claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity, providing sufficient detail to permit our administrative team to locate the specific material on our servers.
  • Contact Routing Information: Sufficient operational data to permit our compliance officers to contact the complaining party, including a legal name, physical address, telephone number, and an active email address.
  • Statement of Good Faith: A definitive statement that the complaining party has a good faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its designated agent, or the law.
  • Statement of Perjury: A formal declaration that the information in the notification is strictly accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that the complaining party is fully authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.

3. Counter-Notification Procedures

If you believe that your administrative content or submitted material was removed (or to which access was disabled) by mistake or misidentification, you have the legal right to submit a Counter-Notice. To be effective, a Counter-Notice must be a written communication provided to our designated Copyright Agent that includes substantially the following:

  • Your physical or electronic signature.
  • Identification of the material that has been structurally removed or to which access has been disabled, and the specific URL location at which the material appeared before it was removed.
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of a database error or misidentification of the material to be removed.
  • Your name, physical address, telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located, and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original takedown notification.

4. Repeat Infringer Policy

In accordance with the DMCA and other applicable legal frameworks, our technical infrastructure operates on a strict “strike” system. We have adopted a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances and at our sole administrative discretion, the network access or account privileges of users who are deemed to be repeat infringers of our intellectual property guidelines.

5. Designated Copyright Agent Contact Routing

All formal DMCA notifications, counter-notices, and legal inquiries regarding intellectual property must be routed directly to our designated compliance department. Please allow up to 72 operational hours for our technical team to verify the cryptographic integrity and legal validity of your claim before executing server-level removals.
